Sponsor Highlight: Stella & Dot

Stella & Dot continues to be a fabulous sponsor of Juggling in Heels and I am so excited to review their new Fall 2012 collection and pick my top three pieces!  I must say, it was extremely difficult to pick just three because Fall looks pretty fab.  I am on an accessory kick again so this was perfect timing for me.

Here are my top 3 picks!

Gold & Black Chain Tassel Earrings
These earrings are my absolute favorite in the collection.  I think they would make such an impact with any outfit and I love the slight edge they have.
Gold & Coral Epoxy Stone Bib Necklace
Everyone knows I am a sucker for coral and the instant I saw this necklace I knew I had to share.  I wish I had this in my hands now for our upcoming trip to Chicago.  LOVE.
Leaf Print Bronze Cuff Bracelet

There is something extremely simple and chic about this bracelet.  A perfect addition to an arm party don't you think?

As I said, it was extremely hard to pick only three items so I highly recommend checking out the entire Fall 2012 collection here.  Also, if you are interested in booking a party with my Stella & Dot independent stylist sponsor, Sally Neff, click here for details!

One More Thing

I already wished you a "Happy Weekend" with complete plans to not come back to the blog until Monday.  Then I received an email from Tory Burch.  I am LOVING her Pre-Fall collection and had to share some of my favorites.  Yes, I understand that it is 100 degrees across the country and NO ONE is looking forward to boots and long sleeves.  But you know, sometimes fashion just does not make sense.  This is one of those times.

The Fourth....And Then Some

The Fourth of July began on the 2nd for us this year with a neighborhood party and extended through the week until Wednesday night's fireworks and community celebration.  The kids had an absolute blast and the best part was, we NEVER left our community.  It is pretty nice having fabulous neighbors isn't it?

My contribution

After the wedding the hubby and I realized that we NEVER get a photo of ourselves together so we made a commitment, beginning with the fourth, that we would be better at this.  The above is proof that we are on our way.  BTW, I have no idea why I am wearing that pink bracelet.  I think my daughter handed it to me and I just stuck it on because I did not know what else to do with it.  It sort of ruins my red, white and blue theme but whatever.  Nothing I can do about that now.  I promise you, it was not a wristband for a beer garden.  PROMISE.

I completely understand that the posts this week have focused less on retail and more on events but hey, we have had a lot going on!  I promise that for those who would like to indulge in some retail therapy, there will be much more for you next week.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

The Day After

Here it is.  I am really tired and have a little headache.  The Fourth of July was incredible as always and I have woken up today with a little holiday hangover (partly due to the marathon day we had, partly due to a little too much wine).  Today also begins the preparation for our trip to Chicago next week to visit my Best Friend.  Yes, it is going to take this long to get all of us ready.

Because Chicago is one of my favorite cities to shop in, I am trying to purchasing nothing before I go to counterbalance my plan to spend.  This has been incredible hard with the Zara Summer Sale that has been going on.  It is one of the best sales of the year and I have had to use all self control.  That being said, if I wasn't holding back, here are a few things I would be picking up.

Life As We Know It: Wedding Edition

Who doesn't love a wedding?
Here is a look at my sister's incredible day through the lens of my iPhone.
It could not have been more perfect.
1. The centerpieces
2. Donuts - breakfast of champions
3. The bride getting her hair done
4. Make Up Time!
1. The Bride getting her dress on
2. My brother and I all set to go!
A few of my cute little ones
1. My silbings, spouses and parents at the reception
2. The leftover brownie pops - I probably ate entire too many of these.
3. The ring ceremony, with my Middle Man just resting right in the center.  Love that you never know what a child is going to do in a wedding
I still plan on sharing photos from the day but after speaking to the photographer, he is willing to share and I can 100% guarantee that his photos are much better than mine so you will have to wait.  Don't worry though, it will be worth it.

Tea Please!

Is it really July?!  I am quite shocked by this.  With the fourth of July this Wednesday, we are headed into another crazy week of celebrating all that summer has to offer.  More food, more sun, more drinks and more fun.  NOT that I am complaining!  And did I mention that we head to Chicago next week to visit my Best Friend and her family?  Better start getting ready for that too!

This past weekend was really one of my favorite weekends of the summer with my sister's wedding on Friday, a neighborhood BBQ on Saturday and a family BBQ Sunday.  We spent spare moments at the pool with the kids and simply laying around the house, re-energizing for the next event.  It was all so much fun and I will definitely be sharing photos once I can get a second to go through them all.

To kick off this first Monday of July, I wanted to share with you an upcoming Tea Collection sale that begins today on Gilt Groupe at 9:00am pacific.  I know I have mentioned it prior but I am a HUGE fan of Tea Collection for my children, especially for Baby Girl.  They consistently deliver incredible prints that are not too over the top (remember, I am not a huge fan of pink EVERYWHERE).  And not only are they cute, but they wash and wear EXTREMELY well, keeping their shape, color and quality throughout numerous beatings from my children on the playground.  With the way they destroy clothes, this is actually quite amazing.  Because Tea Collection tends to be a little more expensive, getting their items on sale is a must.

Here is a little sneak peek at what is going to be on the sale today...

Ancho Chile Striped Dress
Gilt Price: $18
Boys Amazing Army Jacket
Gilt Price: $55-79

If you are not a member, click here for an invitation.  If you already are, then you know that it is a MUST to be on the site at 9:00am (pacific) sharp or you will miss out!
