Self Control

I have stopped myself from pre-ordering this Rachel Zoe Estella Tuxedo Wrap Gown from the FW Collection at least 5 times today on Moda Operandi.

It just screams GLAMOUR and I already know which events I would wear this to (none being weddings, OBVIOUSLY).  I keep telling myself "you need new furniture, you need new furniture" but then, if I don't look good next to the furniture, then what is the point?  Justification at its best.  I am giving myself HUGE props for my self control.  

Also, this Rachel Zoe obsession has got to stop.  I am going to go watch the Proenza Schouler show online to veer my obsession from one designer to another.  Gawd I wish I was at New York Fashion Week and not packing boxes.  

Spring brings more reason to love Rachel Zoe

As you know, I have a slight obsession with Rachel Zoe (remember my excitement when her show returned here?  Or when I scooped up this vest, which I have lived in all winter?).

It just wouldn't seem right not sharing my favorite pieces from her Spring 2012 collection.  Why?  Because she is fabulous.  And if there was any closet that I would love to spend a day in, it would be hers.  Can you imagine??  I loved her fall collection but I actually like this one even more.  Perhaps more pieces that I can see myself in?  Or simply because it has Spring in the title (have I mentioned I am over Winter?).  Whatever it is, it is pretty insane.

The vest is mine!

I have been eyeing this Rachel Zoe Faux Fur Vest ever since her collection launched a few months ago.

 I had yet to pull the trigger until I found it at Neiman Marcus on sale!  That was all that I needed to order it!   

Such a welcome addition to my Fall wardrobe and a great way to kick off the weekend.

There is no reality star I love more than Rachel Zoe.  I am truly obsessed with her show (and lifestyle, and closet, and jewelry!).  There is something fascinating about a stylist who works with such incredible actresses and designers.  I just cannot get enough.  If you love fashion and have never watched, shame on you.  You will love it!  Season 4 begins tonight on Bravo at 10/9c and you don't want to miss all the drama (Brad is gone and Rachel is prego!) so make sure to set your DVR or watch it live!

Wish List: Pre-Fall Date Night

 I am LOVING all the Pre-Fall collections that have hit the internet.  While creating a major wish list in my head, I came up with my ideal "Date Night" outfit for a nice, cool evening out with the hubby.  I wonder if he also thinks I need a $2500 outfit to take me out?  *sigh* Perhaps that is why it is called a "wish list".
