No. 5

Thanks to Etsy I have become fascinated with how many different ways artists can re-create the classic bottle of my favorite scent.
These are some of my favorites out there.
I sort of want all of them framed, hanging in my powder room.

Midnight in Paris

Have you seen this movie?

I am obsessed.

I watched it on the flight home from France (Remember that trip hereherehere, and here?) and at the time was hoping the plane would turn around and take me back.  The soundtrack is also incredible and I call it my musical xanax.

This movie and music remind me of just how much I just adore France.  I am inspired by French design, love French fashion, enjoy French wine and dream of living in the French countryside.  I may not be able to go there again right away, but there is plenty of items that can take me back for just a bit.

ASOS Bonjour Sweater

French Bistro Tray

Plain Patent Flats

Bouchard Pere and Fils Wine
One of our wine tasting stops in Beune.  Amazing.

Eye Candy for the Table

One thing I love to collect are designer coffee table books.  I can quickly get lost in the art of fashion and if I ever have time to simply sit and relax, I love flipping through the pages and indulging in the work of some of my favorite designers.  My recent additions have been Manolo Blahnik: Drawings and Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty but I would love to have some of these titles added to my collection this Christmas.

Chanel: The Vocabulary of Style
Harper's Bazaar: Greatest Hits
Louis Vuitton: 100 Legendary Trunks
Dior Couture
Christian Louboutin

Paris Favorites: Everything Else

As the week comes to a close and "real life" has finally set in, I will share some final photos of some of my favorites from our trip.  I hope you have enjoyed walking through it all with me but if you are sick of hearing about it, don't worry, next week it is back to Mommyhood and Retail Therapy!

Revoir a Paris!  Until next time!
