I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Eve and a fabulous first day of 2012. This lady rang in the New Year's FRIDAY night (I like to go against the grain) with cocktails like these...

and therefore spent New Year's Eve night feeling slightly less than perfect. We had an enjoyable evening at home watching the ball drop with our kids. There may have been no cocktails (due to my headache and their being underage) but we still found a way to indulge. We made our favorite S'mores using Reese's Peanut Butter Cups instead of Hershey Bars. It is SO much better.
This morning we are off to a roof top to watch the Rose Parade, followed taking in the LAST DAY of vacation before real life returns tomorrow. That alarm is going to sound TERRIBLE in the morning.

I have to say... I'm LOVING the reeses peanut butter cup s'mores! I'm going to have to try those! :-)
